Nerc Cip Regulations

Following are the NERC CIP Regulations:

– Assessment of Configuration – It is the responsibility of NERC CIP to ensure that the systems which are placed in premises meets the compliance and wherever there are discrepancies to fix them by meeting the desired service line agreements.

– Maintaining Event Logs – It is better to have a track on log and event management system. This covers reporting on threats and trends, checking and securing the logs which would be helpful in future to identify any risk and responding before the actual disaster occurs.

– Workflows which are Automated – Making the workflows automated is the best solution for the technical and non-technical assessments as it helps to identify the issue at a glance as it is technology controlled and monitored.

– Training for employees and making them comfortable – NERC CIP is accountable for providing trainings to its staff so that they are well-equipped with compliance policies and NERC CIP regulations.
