Nerc Cip 002

In 2006 NERC published the document named Critical Infrastructure Protection 002 (CIP 002) and implemented it. It was a new standard of system which guaranteed cyber protection in order to maintain the stability of the Bulk Electric System. Every unit since then had to accept and follow the rules; moreover, possible actions were highlighted in this document to prevent the potential risk and protect Critical Cyber Assets from futher damage. Cyber security since then had become the unified adjusted system which gave the opportunity for businesses to function and cooperate in the way of safest environment across North American region. CIP guarantees not only electronic protection of Critical Cyber Assets, but also physical one which had been developed in form of a plan, i.e. monitoring the perimeter and the area where those were located. All things considered, the unified standards and rules for each and every entity were implemented for cyber protection.
